Over the past couple of weeks, we have all had to get use to this online way of working. I think this is reflective of the development in my work and the amount of work I produced as time went on. The week by week briefing was a useful way to structure a project. Due to this being online I did find it hard to log my process and develop my work, however with feedback I began to be more aware of how process can build a background and help an outcome become relatable. This is my week by week process log to help you gain an understanding of where I have come from, to the work I have produced for you now.

Week one: during collect week I focused my time on finding 26 objects. With the random clutter I collected I organised them alphabetically, I think this was a way of ordering the “chaos”. I also produced this colour wheel, which introduced me to collaging, which I carried all the way through.

Week two: during catalogue week we looked at focusing on 3 objects, I chose 3 very different pieces, however all had texture, dents, rips in them- run down, not very cared for. I produced a series of illustrations and photographs to catalogue the objects and allow the reader to understand them more. I had the intention to use these in a children’s story book to catalogue my work.

Week three: during curate week this is where I started to develop using the previous weeks ideas and inspirations. I started to curate a story book using the objects I had found, organising them into alphabetical order, using alliterations. I also took the photographs and illustrations from last week to make texture in this weeks outcome.

Week four: during converge week I refined my work, taking inspiration from my useful feedback from my group I experimented, retouched and produce a developed story book idea. I stuck with this idea as I got positive feedback last week and I think the book summarised the platforms intentions when giving out the briefs.

Week four: to continue I looked at developing a back and front cover to make the book look as finished as I could. I believe from start to finished I carried the same themes and structure to my work.
